Physiotherapy has been defined as “Physiotherapeutic system of medicine which includes examination, treatment, advice and instructions to any person preparatory to or for the purpose of or in connection with movement dysfunction, bodily malfunction, physical disorder, disability, healing and pain from trauma and disease, physical and mental conditions using physical agents including exercise, mobilization, manipulation, mechanical and electrotherapy, activity and devices or diagnosis, treatment and prevention
Physiotherapy targets to enable a patient or an individual in performing his /Her activities of daily life or Desired Social /Vocational /Personal duties (such as in sports or in work field) with full independence and best of his ability
Department of Physiotherapy started in year 2014 with first batch of 30 students

- Physiotherapy academic block has 08 centrally air-conditioned lecture theaters in amphitheater arrangement (each has a capacity of 90 students) with overhead projector installed for Integrated Digital classes.
- Department of Physiotherapy is equipped with state of art laboratories which offers highly advance training atmospheres to its student also encourages research work for its academic staff.
- Physiotherapy labs are equipped with State of Art Hydrotherapy unit, Electro therapy Lab, Gait Rehabilitation Lab & Exercise Therapy lab.
