The department of medical education plays a pivotal role in developing medical and para-medical personal to cater to the health needs of the state. The department also has a role to play in establishment and maintenance of well-equipped teaching institutions, which are the premier referral centers from peripheral hospitals. The directorate facilitates a comprehensive medical education via various medical, dental and paramedical colleges in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

With an aim to Educate & train students of Bundelkhand region with emerging concepts of allied health sciences, Maharani Laxmi Bai Rajkiya Paramedical training College was established in year 2014. Since its inception entire team of MLBPMTC has worked with sincerity, honesty & Hard work against all the odds and emerged as the best institute for Paramedical education of Bundelkhand region. In a very short span of 04 years, it has produced more 700 young paramedic professionals
